RigCom Stations For Hazardous Areas

RigCom is a robust common-talk station engineered for harsh and hazardous environments. It is designed for reliability in extreme conditions and uses push-to-talk, release-to-listen operation. For hands-free use, stations can be configured with an optional footswitch. RigCom is fully compatible with GAI-Tronics EZ Page stations, so hazardous zones and safe areas stay on one communication system.

RigCom UL Division 1

Each station has an explosion-proof enclosure and an optional explosion-proof loudspeaker that also works as the microphone.

RigCom with attached Speaker

The enclosure and speaker (which also works as a microphone) are supplied together as one station.

RigCom Remote Speaker station

For use with a GAI-Tronics speaker driver and a suitable horn.

RigCom ATEX Zone 1

Each station has a Zone 1 enclosure housing the remote electronics and a Zone 1 loudspeaker that also works as the microphone. These models need a remote speaker and have connections for an auxiliary microphone and for footswitch operation.

EZ Page for Safe Areas

EZ Page is a common-talk system for non-hazardous areas. It operates across a wide range of temperatures and AC/DC voltages, supports hands-free operation, and is compatible with GAI-Tronics RigCom. It comes in two standard configurations:

Master/Slave

The Master station controls the talk/listen function of the Slave. The Slave is normally in transmit mode, so the Master can monitor the Slave’s speaker.

Common Line

Every station is on one common talk path, so a user can call everywhere at once. Stations stay in listen mode until someone presses the push-to-talk button.
